Description
Inspired by an antique Italian original, this pewter plate features two thin lines engraved on the edge for an elegant, understated effect. Given its size, it can be used as a dessert or fruit plate. All of our pewter plates are handmade with the utmost care and precision, and this makes them unmistakable. We know there is some psychological resistance at the thought of eating a meal directly from a pewter plate; yet for more than six hundred years pewter plates have been used on tables throughout Europe, and this is something that everyone should experience. The alloy we use for casting each object is tin, bonded with antimony and copper. The Italian pewter we use meets all EU and US requirements for food safety.
