Description
This elegant pewter beer stein, with a capacity of around one litre, is embellished with three supporting legs, and a knob which is turned and welded onto the lid. It bears the engraving “HMK 1776”, and indeed pewter steins were often customized with the initials of their owners. Also available in a simplified version as in art. 264. Each pewter beer stein is cast in several parts and then soldered and finished exclusively by hand in our workshop. The alloy we use for casting each pewter stein is made from tin, bonded with antimony and copper. The Italian pewter we use meets all EU and US requirements for food safety.
