One of our little film stars! Indeed, this pewter hourglass appears in the film “Shakespeare in Love”, and is used by the astrologer-psychologist to measure the duration of his meetings. Watching the sand flowing through an ampoule has a hypnotic charm, as if it were a challenge to the passage of time. Also available in a smaller version as in art. 324, our pewter hourglass is characterized by attractive engravings, inspired by antique originals. In keeping with the best tradition of Italian craftsmanship, our pewter hourglasses are cast, soldered and finished exclusively by hand in our workshop.
