One of our little film stars! This pewter hourglass, in its largest version, art. 323, appears in the film “Shakespeare in Love”, and is used by the astrologer-psychologist to measure the duration of his meetings. Watching the sand flowing through an ampoule has a hypnotic charm, as if it were a challenge to the passage of time. Our pewter hourglass, characterized by attractive engravings inspired by original antiques, defies the time that it measures, by always remaining fascinating and current. In keeping with the best tradition of Italian craftsmanship, our pewter hourglasses are cast, soldered and finished exclusively by hand in our workshop.
