Description
Inspired by an antique original made in Venice, this pewter plate is characterized by an English border giving an elegant, understated effect. The marks on the flat surface are precisely due to the fact that, in the past, these plates were used daily and the blade used to cut the food often scratched the pewter itself. A sign of the times that we like to show on some of our items. All of our pewter plates are handmade with the utmost care and precision, and this makes them unmistakable. The alloy we use for casting each object is tin, bonded with antimony and copper. The Italian pewter we use meets all EU and US requirements for food safety.
